It’s been an exciting and fruitful year at Apple Hill, full of big changes, celebratory events, and new starts! Thanks to your generosity and unflagging commitment to our mission, we marked our official return to full enrollment at our five summer chamber music sessions, with nearly 250 participants of all ages – half of them recipients of scholarship support – experiencing the magic of an Apple Hill summer. Thank you for making this important accomplishment possible.

As summer ended, we said a warm and grateful farewell to former Executive Director Javier Caballero, and in September, welcomed two important members to the team – Apple Hill String Quartet cellist, Jacob MacKay, and Executive Director, Sam Bergman. Both have longstanding connections to Apple Hill: Jacob as an alumnus of the summer chamber music workshop and Sam as a summer faculty member. We are thrilled to (re)introduce them to you in their new roles.

Looking ahead to the 2024-25 season, Elise, Jesse, Mike and Jacob are touring locally this fall, and are headed to the West Coast in early 2025. International Playing for Peace tours are also on the horizon as we redouble our commitment to enhancing Apple Hill’s reach and inviting new summer participants from around the world to learn, build community, and make music together.
