We are looking forward to seeing you at Apple Hill for your session! Please read on for lots of useful information for your session.
Emergency contact info:
- For emergencies during session, your family can call the Camp Director cell phone: 603-847-5198.
- For non-emergencies, please contact Amelia at 603-847-3371 or amelia@applehill.org.
Allergies/dietary restrictions:
- Please let me know if you have any dietary restrictions or food allergies at least a week before you arrive. Even if your allergy/restriction is common or you’ve easily managed it at AH before, please let me know anyway so that the kitchen team can plan meals and food orders accurately. We can accommodate most dietary needs with sufficient notice.
Arrival/Departure:
Schedule:
- Participants need to be present from the first day of their session at 5pm through the final Sunday of their session at 5pm. We can’t accommodate late arrivals or early departures.
- Please avoid scheduling non-Apple Hill events during your session. Being fully present and involved in the community and activities is a core part of the AH experience!
- Click here for a typical daily schedule.
Concerts:
- The final participant concerts are the final Saturday at 7pm and the final Sunday at 1:30pm.
- Family and friends are welcome to attend concerts; pre-student-concert meals are closed to guests.
- Participant groups are split between the Saturday and Sunday concerts; concert programs will be set towards the end of the session. If your family/friends can only attend one concert, let your coaches know and we will do our best to program your group on that day.
Music:
- You should all have received practice copies of all your music assignments by now (sent via email) and be well into your practicing! Let me know if you are still waiting for your music or have any questions or concerns about it.
Packing:
- A packing list is available here.
- There are no on-campus laundry facilities, so pack enough clothes for the full session.
- Please note that this is a nut-free campus.
- Check the weather report before you pack—summer in NH can be cold and rainy one day, and hot and sunny the next!
Merchandise:
- We’ll have Apple Hill t-shirts, hoodies, and other merchandise available to purchase during registration and after the final concerts. You can also make purchases online here.
Covid protocols:
- Please take a moment to review our Covid protocols for summer 2025, available online here, which we updated at the beginning of the summer. We strongly recommend you take precautions until your session, such as masking during flights. We continue to require isolation while ill with Covid, so catching Covid on your way to Apple Hill will mean missing rehearsals and group activities. After all the practicing and eager anticipation of your session, we want you to be able to participate fully and enjoy the session in good health!
AH Values:
- Apple Hill’s mission is centered around the values of acceptance, inclusivity, creative expression, and encouragement. This includes advocating for the inclusive use of pronouns for all. Acknowledging that we are all on different journeys, please take a moment to read the following guide created to help all of us use people’s correct pronouns: Pronouns: A Guide from GLSEN | GLSEN
If you have questions, there is a lot of information in the Life at Apple Hill and FAQ pages of our website. I am happy to answer any other questions you may have.
See you soon!
Best,
Amelia
