Help Apple Hill with a Major Renovation!
This year we plan on starting major renovations at Apple Hill. With your support, we can update the kitchen with a new commercial dishwashing system, build out beautiful new decks, expand the porch, and build new practice rooms! But wait, there's more! We will also install a new roof and windows, construct an ADA wheelchair ramp and build a new entranceway to the kitchen. Did we mention the new porch? It's going to be beautiful.

Program: Mozart String Quartet in A Major K. 464, Sato Matsui “Free and So Thankful” (written for the women of the WIN shelter in NYC), George Walker Lyric, Alberto Ginastera Danza del gaucho matrero arr. by Jeff Louie, and Ernest Chausson Concerto for Violin, Piano, and String Quartet Op. 21.
Featuring Apple Hill resident musicians Elise Kuder, violin; Mike Kelley, viola; and Rupert Thompson, cello, with guests Apple Hill alumnus Jesse MacDonald and Apple Hill summer faculty Rebecca Fischer, violins, and AH summer faculty Yi-heng Yang, piano.
With equal focus on rigorous instruction and supportive community, the Summer Chamber Music Workshop has fostered musical growth since its founding in 1971. Director Lenny Matczynski, the Apple Hill String Quartet and renowned faculty coach musicians of all ages, levels, and cultures who are placed in chamber groups by ability rather than age. Applications for the 2020 Workshop will be online later this fall.

THE APPLE HILL CENTER FOR CHAMBER MUSIC
Founded in 1971 and situated on 100 acres of fields and woodlands in rural New Hampshire, Apple Hill is a unique center of chamber music performance and education. Led by Director Leonard Matczynski and the Apple Hill String Quartet, the only resident string quartet in the state of New Hampshire, Apple Hill is one of the few centers in the country that has a home campus, resident musicians, educational programs for aspiring musicians, and Playing for Peace, our program that focuses on social change through chamber music.

Apple Hill exists to perform, teach, and create chamber music at the highest standard, broaden the appreciation of chamber music through the development of educational programs, and cultivate connection and understanding among people of diverse backgrounds, cultures, playing levels, and ages through the Playing for Peace program.
